 Fourth Kind, The (2009)
IMDB rating: 8.00
Plot: 1n 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the first kind. When evidence is collected, it is known as an encounter of the second kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the third kind. The next level, abduction, is the fourth kind. Modern-day, Alaska, where-mysteriously since the 1960s-a disproportionate number of the population has been reported missing every year. Despite multiple FBI investigations of the region, the truth has never been discovered. Here in this remote region, psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler began videotaping sessions with traumatized patients and unwittingly discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented. The Fourth Kind exposes the terrified revelations of multiple witnesses. Their accounts of being visited by alien figures all share disturbingly identical details, the validity of which is investigated throughout the film.

Does he like me back?
So I like this guy and I want to know if he likes me. He and I have the last two periods together in school and talk to each other sometimes, and have known each other, though not seeing each other consistently, for three-four years. It sounds like a lot but we have only talked for like two-three minutes at a time. When I met him he and I were both in fourth or fifth grade, but he went to a private school and I went to a public school so we never saw each other except when our parents got together (we are family friends and live in the same neighborhood) and I had a huge crush on him back then, and apparently so did he because my younger brother taunted him one time saying that he liked me and he got really upset and went to his room and didn’t come out for the rest of the evening. Then after not seeing him except for one minute or so every year since then for no reason in particular, his father loses his job so the boy has to go to public school (which is also my school!) and then that leads me to this school year. For the past few weeks I have noticed the boy sometimes staring at me, although I don’t know if by accident or not. But I have also noticed that when I start to answer a question or speak up during class he looks up immediately, and I don’t know if that’s a coincidence or not.. it doesn’t seem to be! Then today my friend was annoying him by tripping him and pulling on his zippers of his backpack, so he turned to me and was like, "you have weird friends" and then smiled towards me. I just responded with, "I know, but I love them anyways." and smiled.
This is really starting to be long, but one more thing… the other day I was walking behind him (I didn’t say anything to him, I just walked as I was very tired that day) and when he walked by a door with glass in it he looked into and saw me behind him. Then he looked my way slyly twice before turning to me and asking (awkwardly) if there was any homework that was due that day.. I answered and I thought it was kind of funny because it was sooo obvious that I was behind him :] Oh and sorry for the lengthy paragraph and TIPS ARE APPRECIATED :] :] :] Thanks, Seline

Are African-Americans genetically lazy?
They make up 12% of the US population and 37% of welfare checks opposite to European-Americans that make up 75% of the US population and only 38% of welfare checks. Back in sub - Saharan Africa most of their "cousins" are just as lazy sitting down swapping flies going up their large nostrils with their money like hands. Are they genetically lazy? The only decent countries in Africa were colonized by Europeans semi - successfully or in northern Sahara Africa which is basically Arab - Africa.
Slavery in the United States was the only time they actually worked.

Is Nu-metal dead what what is famous now?
remember in the early year 2000 all these nu-metal bands were famous. like korn, limp bizkit, linkin, ect.
Is this the kind of music bros listen too?
Sorry this is for my college pop culture class thing.
What rock music is famous of today
and what heavy rock music is famous right now
No Nu-Metal isn’t dead. Since people still listen to the Nu-Metal bands that exploded in the 90’s (slipknot, System of A down, korn ect) its not dead. And on top of that there are bands still making nu-metal music. Not as many, and almost none are "famous" due to no radio play. One band that continues to make Nu-Metal type music (and one of my favorite bands) is Otep. Hope this helps.

IMDB rating: 5.50
Plot: A young boy is found wandering without any memory of who he is. A family takes him in and begin to look for clues to help him find his way home. In the meantime, they notice that the boy seems to have certain special abilities, not usually found in kids his age, or even fully-grown adults.

Question about the English alphabet?
I was just thinking about the English alphabet and noticed a pattern in the way the letters are pronounced. Here is what I noticed:
Common Denominator: ee
B-bee
C-cee
D-dee
E-eee
G-gee
P-pee
T-tee
V-vee
Z-zee
Common Denominator: ay
A-ay
H-aytche
J-jay
K-kay
Common Denominator: e
F-ef
L-el
M-em
N-en
S-es
X-ex
Common Denominator: u
Q-cu
U-u
W-doubleu
O-when you say "O" your lips open and then come together
Y-when you say "Y" your lips come together then open
The only two letters I haven’t linked together are "I" and "R".
Is there a link between "I" and "R"? Whoever came up with the alphabet, did they create this correlation on purpose? If so why? What is this correlation in letters called?
I don’t think there is a link. The only one I came up with is that they are both pirate words "aye" and "arrgh" ha ha.

 Transformers (2007)
IMDB rating: 7.50
Plot: A long time ago, far away on the planet of Cybertron, a war was being waged between the noble Autobots (led by the wise Optimus Prime) and the devious Decepticons (commanded by the dreaded Megatron) for control over the Allspark, a mystical talisman that would grant unlimited power to whoever possessed it. The Autobots managed to smuggle the Allspark off the planet, but Megatron blasted off in search of it. He eventually tracked it to the planet of Earth (circa 1850), but his reckless desire for power sent him right into the Arctic Ocean, and the sheer cold forced him into a paralyzed state. His body was later found by Captain Archibald Witwicky, and before going into a comatose state Megatron used the last of his energy to engrave a map, showing the location of the Allspark, into the Captain’s glasses, and send a transmission to Cybertron. He is then carted away by the Captain’s ship. A century later, Sam Witwicky, nicknamed Spike by his friends, buys his first car. To his shock, he discovers it to be Bumblebee, an Autobot in disguise who is to protect Spike, as he bears the Captain’s glasses and the map carved on them. But Bumblebee is not the only Transformer to have arrived on Earth - in the desert of Qatar, the Decepticons Blackout and Scorponok attack a U.S. military base, causing the Pentagon to send their special Sector Seven agents to capture all “specimens of this alien race,” and Spike and his girlfriend Mikaela find themselves in the middle of a grand battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons, stretching from Hoover Dam all the way to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, within the depths of Hoover Dam, the cryogenically stored form of Megatron awakens…

Who will win the Razzie 4 Worst Remake, Rip-Off, or Sequel?
Here are the nominees:
"G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra"
"Land of the Lost"
"Pink Panther 2"
"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"
"Twilight Saga: New Moon"
I should mention that my childhood was shaped by the entities that inspired "Transformers," "G.I. Joe," "The Pink Panther," & "Land of the Lost." I watched the cartoons, "Pink Panther" 2 a lesser extent as it wasn’t always on. & I never really liked the TV show "Land of the Lost." & I only collected the Transformers toys (all gone now). One of my 2 reasons I haven’t seen these films is perhaps not 2 get 2 nostalgic about my childhood & stuff; the other reason’s that they would b Razzie-nomin8d this year.
I’m pretty sure the panel will choose "Transformers" as a full attack on a very popular film. But my pick would be "The Pink Panther II." This entire renewal of that franchise seems pointless to me & Steve Martin is acting like a blatant sellout. I would just prefer to see The Pink Panther do more insulation commercials again. The 30th Raspberries take place March 6.
I only saw Transformers and it was one of the worst high budget movies I have seen. It was the first time I heard Megan Fox talk. Her voice was so high pitched it hurt. The ghetto talking robots floored me. Also lots of sexual situations for a movie aimed at a younger crowd. The evil transformer that was disguised as a hot college girl was a bit much. Just a horrific movie.
Ant | Feb 05, 2010
I would have to say Land of the Lost, but Transformers ,too. Transformers was a real disappointment but that was unexpected since it came from Michael Bay who hits and misses a lot, so maybe it might just be Transformers since it was such a disappointment

name that theme part 1?
As some of you may know this is technically part three of "name that song," but I wasn’t getting as much out come as I thought I was going to. So now in order to get BA you must include at least who performs the song, who’s them it is, and(if a stable or team) who was in it. Plus some generic info of the wrestler/team.

 Escape from L.A. (1996)
IMDB rating: 5.10
Plot: Sequel to “Escape From New York”. In 2000, a huge earthquake hits Los Angeles which causes the whole city to be now situated on an island. In that year the new life-term US President, an out-spoken moralist declares that all people not conforming to the high morals he sets for the country will be deported to the Los Angeles island. Like New York, a wall is built, guards posted to stop any escapes and if sent there - you can’t return to the US. In 2013, Cuervo Jones, a terrorist invades the dreams of the President’s daughter, Utopia, and brainwashes her into stealing a device from a weapons establishment and runs with Cuervo to the island. Snake Plissken, hero of Escape From New York, is forced again to go to the island to get the device by the President (who doesn’t care if Utopia returns or not.) and he is poisoned to ensure his co-operation. Like New York, Los Angeles is now a decaying city, a hot-bed of scum and weirdos and Snake has 9 hours to find the device and Utopia, and get out before the poison kicks in.
