Night of the Comet (1984)

Plot: Two sisters, high school seniors in the early 1980s, awaken one morning to blood red skies and the realization that the human race has been wiped out. It becomes apparant that anyone who was not surrounded by steel when the Earth recently passed through the tail of Haley’s comet has been reduced to a pile of red ash (the trace elements of human chemical makeup.) They encounter a rebellious Native American man and take over the air waves at a local radio station in an attempt to get help. Unfortunately, they attract the attention of a group of scientists who knew what the effects of the comet would be. They hid underground in a steel laboratory, but idiotically left the vents open. Now, as various survivors of the comet who were only partially surrounded by steel are decaying into flesh-hungry zombies, the scientists are attempting to come up with a vaccine made of the blood of people who were not infected by the comet. Thus the trio must fight their way past not only roving packs of the cannibalistic dead, but also outsmart a pack of scientists desperate not to become that way themselves.

I dreamt about the end of the world?
I had a strange dream last night that has left me uneasy. Not scared or worried, but uneasy.
At the start of the dream, everyone, including me and my family were in the middle of a huge city surrounded by skyscrapers.
We were all looking up at the sky, at this comet coming towards us. We knew it was going to hit and I seemed aware that everything would be destroyed but no one appeared to make an effort to move or hide.
It came closer and closer and closer but it never hit.
Then, I and everyone else found ourselves in a different place by the sea (docks/ships). Again the comet. I was high up but we saw it coming closer and closer but it never hit.
This went on for ages and ages. I ‘visited’ about 6 location around the world. On the 6th, the comet hit and it all went white.
That’s when I woke up.
No one moved. Its like they knew they were going to die. Strangely, for a dream (though I understand this can occur) I was aware of it all.
I could feel the worry at the prospect of me dying. I felt like crying out. I was churning inside yet didnt do anything. I just stood there waiting for it to come.
On the 6th time it did. I remember looking at it get closer and closer until it hit and we all died.
This sounds too disturbing to be a regular dream. Any dream expert out there that can explain.
Maybe it is refering to a change. Part of my life is dying off?
I saw that movie,to.
Or something mighty close to it.

I have heard that many people in America are having dreams about the end of the earth. I suspect it’s related to the current president and the negative changes he is bringing to the country. His ineptness has seemed to make people very upset.

sometimes you hear all these things about 2012 and no matter how much you say your not scared you probably keep thinking we are only two years away like i do even though i dont believe it
in your dream people were maybe not moving because they knew about that day before it happened
