Suspecting he’s been double-crossed by his long-time mentor, he sets off to Cambodia for his promised cut. John Lennon fam: What do you think about this?
Ok, this is a serious question and is in no way meant to be chatting. Please don’t report me.
Today I was cleaning my bedroom and the first thing I wanted to organize was my bookshelf. Anyways, I remembered that I had a book about ghosts in New York City. I’ve had the book for a while and I never really read it except the 1st page. When I took it off the shelf something told me that there would be something about John in it. So I opened it up and looked at the table of contents. Sure enough there it said The Dakota pg 73-74. I looked at it and here is all it had to say about John:
When John Lennon and Yoko Ono bought into the famous building in Robert Ryan’s old apartment on the seventh floor, some of the more traditional residents were put off. Soon in spite of John’s sporadic shenanigans, the couple’s sometimes curious clothes and the never - ending attempts of fans to invade the well guarded gate of the Dakota, they proved to be rather unexceptional neighbors. Immediatley after settling in, John and Yoko hired a psychic to "read" their apartment. The medium was said to have communicated with the ghost of Ryan’s former wife, who died in the apartment. Lennon was killed by a deranged gunman in the 72nd street entrance doorway on December 8th, 1980. A New York Daily News article mentioned that, earlier in the day fellow Dakota resident Lauren Bacall had alerted security that there was something amiss about waiting autograph seeker Mark Chapman, who later that night took Lennon’s life. Lennon’s spirit materalized at the foot of the bed of many leading psychics and parapsyhchologists in the weeks after he died. Accounts of Lennon’s manifestations by disc jockeys and other people in the music business frequently take place on the anniversary of his death. Psychics maintain that Lennon epitomizes an enormous supply of positive energy in the beyond. In addition, a lamenting specter refuses to leave the Dakota. Over the years, many workers and inhabitants have described noticing a spectral girl in a nineteenth century yellow silk dress bouncing a red ball. She keeps repeating, tearfully: "Today’s my birthday." And with that, wearing a sheepish grin and uttering a soft cry, she vanishes. It has been said that she is a harbinger of death and was spotted the night that John Lennon was murdered. During a seance with Lennon, he corroborated that the Dakota was haunted. In that conversation with Lennon’s specter, he stated that his supernatural body does "visit" his old apartment. Lennon’s spirit has been spotted crossing from the 72nd street entrance of the Dakota, across Central Park West to the "Imagine" mosaic at Strawberry Fields, a memorial to him.
This is from a book that is supposed to be true stories of ghost hauntings in New York City. I’m not sure if this story is real or not.
So, what do you all think about this? Do any of you know anything about it?

OMGEORGE!! ok this is sorta freaky!!! i sooooo badly wanna go there more then ever before!!! omgeorge! WOW is all i can really say about this!!! im really in shock right now!! lol all i know is tht many exsperts say tht if a person is needeed or or has a porpose tht tht will carry over into the after life! so maybe his sprit is needed to keep peace? or if a person had a hard life (john did) or lots of stress tht moving on is hard and they might get stuck in the "inbetween". spirts are also said to come back on a special day or the day they were taken on. and also come back to a spot tht has meaning to them in some shape or form? but thats all i know!!! this was very amazing thank you very much for sharing!!! lol

i dont know anything about this but i think that this story is true because it tells alot of facts about him and it wouldnt be in the book if it wasnt true!
