Why am I hearing Christmas is a man made holiday that has nothing to do with the birth of Jesus?
I have always adored Christmas every since I was a little boy,
I heard that Christmas is a man made holiday that has nothing to do with the birth of Jesus since he wasn’t even born in the winter,yesterday didn’t feel like Christmas at all if you weren’t in the spirit of Christmas,if felt just like a normal day,but next year I will do more to get in the spirit of Christmas.

Science has rolled back the astrological calendar and have come to a relative consensus that the Christmas star was an astrological event that occurred in the warmer months and earlier than 0BC. You also have to take into account that our calendar has been adjusted by the church to match moon cycles and such.

The initial celebration of this season was to celebrate winter solstice. This goes back to neolithic times the world over and celebrated that they were mid-way through winter a kind of "it’s all-down-hill-from-here" party. The church moved the religious event to coincide with an already celebrated date in a move to replace a natural occurrence with a religious event.

As a disclosure, yes, I am agnostic. I believe religion was created by mankind in general and if it still exists mankind in general needs it. For better or worse. I have no right to tell someone what they can’t believe in but in the same token I can believe what I want without prejudice from others.

My dog is acting normal but vomiting up her food?
She refuses food, but we tried the rice/hamburger remedy and she still vomits that up about 2 hours after she eats. We called the vet and they said its probably just an upset stomach, but another dog that lives in my household also got sick but he was only sick for 12 hours. Its been 3 days since my dog has been sick. She is drinking and peeing normally. Haven’t seen her poop though. We outlawed blockage because we didn’t feel anything and she is acting like her normal self.

Jeffery lived in Bridgeport with his parents until he was three years old. His parents were killed in a horrific trolley accident. He was then sent to live with his Aunt Dot and Uncle Dan in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. The household is extremely divided because his aunt and uncle refuse to speak to each other. They dislike each other but, they are strict Catholics and refuse to divorce. They have two of every thing except Jeffery. So they split him the best they can. After eight years Jeffery becomes tired of it. During the spring musical at Jeffery’s school, he screams at the top of his lungs, "Talk!" Talk! Talk!" and then runs away. Never to return to the house of two toasters. Never to return to school.
Jeffrey begins his search for a new home. He runs for a year,and he ends up in Two Mills. The first day he meets a black girl named Amanda Beale. She has a suitcase that he discovers is full of books. He borrows one and promises to return it. Jeffery performs several feats that day such as intercepting a ball at the high school football practice, hitting several home runs off of the best little league pitcher John McNab, and rescuing a kid from the infamous Finsterwald’s backyard. Manic also has his first meal in town with the Pickwell’s, a large family who is always helping someone. He did this all while carrying a book. All of these feats, and more earn him the name Maniac.
