Lost Stallions: The Journey Home
|
IMDB rating: 4.20 Plot: After the death of his father, troubled teen JAKE GATTISON travels with his mother to Harmony Ranch, a special retreat for families dealing with problems. There, Jake discovers a kindred spirit in Troubadour, a young stallion that has lost his mother and is acting out, unsettled and distressed. Ranch owner CHIEF (screen legend MICKEY ROONEY), works to calm the uneasy horse. Jake witnesses Chief’s determination with the stallion, and begins to see the wisdom in the old man’s words and deeds-lessons he can apply to his own life. When Troubadour suddenly runs away, Jake makes it his mission to bring the lost stallion home. The ranch hand GREYWOLF (ROGER WILLIE -”Windtalkers”) explains to Jake the Native American legend of Heaven’s Pathway, a mountain that towers over Harmony Ranch, said to be a place where wounded souls go to find peace. With this knowledge, Jake sets out with his new friends NICKI and ISAAC, two other troubled teens, on a journey to the top of Heaven’s Pathway in search of Troubadour. The adventure challenges the three teens as never before. Jake, Nicki, and Isaac travel up the mountain bearing the burdens of their weaknesses, fears, and painful pasts. . . but they return with their lives changed forever. |

What is a good teen lovestory movie?
I want to find a good movie to watch. I love the storyline of "Lost stallion: Journey home". But It doesnt have to have horses, but it does need better actors. I like movies with teens that dont like each other at the start of the movie, but fall in love by the end.. I also like the ones where someone has to go to a camp, or a place that he doesnt really want to go to, but finds love there.
And I perfer them to be teen movies.
Please let me know of any!
I’ve got a great one for you. It’s called "Breaking Free". It’s been out for some time…since about ‘97. It stars a young Jeremy London (Mallrats, The Man in the Moon) as a juvenile delinquent sent to help out at a summer camp to avoid being sent to a detention center. He meets-and falls for-a girl who was sent to the camp against her will. Oh-and there ARE horses in this one! The "camp" is actually a ranch.
The movie also stars Christine Taylor (Marsha-The Brady Bunch Movie) as a camp coordinator. It was released by Warner Brothers, so you should be able to find it in the older section @ Hollywood Video or Blockbuster.
I purposely left out some key info about this movie, b/c I didn’t want to spoil it for you. If you like it, you might also wanna check out "Indian Summer".

There are lots of good answers here. If you are looking for a love story that involves horses, try "Wild Hearts Can’t be Broken" starring a young Gabrielle Anwar. It has horses and young love and drama. It’s truly a wonderful story.
