This situation isnt pretty, is it?
so i have a really really close friend - we are completely inseperable. we both have a crush on the same guy. who has a girlfriend :(.
however, our school (we all go to the same school) is putting on a production of Beauty and the Beast. Both my friend and I tried out for Belle. Our crush got the role of the beast, and my friend got belle. i am Mrs.Potts ( lol not what i was hoping for ). looks like she will be in love with him in life and in the play. he willl love her in the play, maybe come to love her in life. and i sit there and poor them some tea. what would you do in my situation???

btw last year both me and my friend liked him for a really long time, we tried giving up on him this year but i have liked him again for a few months and she has for about a month. and again, i am rly close friends with her. what do you think i should do in this situation?!?!

I personally believe that if Roy was playing back then he would have hired a hit man. He tends to carry a vendetta about these sorts of things, and he doesn’t take crap from anyone. I mean look at the fight his son got into. He would, without a doubt, hit up the local crime lord and ask for Bertuzzi’s prize race horse to be decapitated and placed in his bed.

I am with everyone else…it was a long time ago and time to move on for even the fans (I know….some people need a reason…any reason to hate). And I am not condoning what Bert did but interesting how so many forget that Moore was a dirty player who cheap shot Naslund (who was never the same either after Moore got hit dirty hit in on him). Had he the same amount of balls to man up as he had running around delivering cheap shots he would have just gotten it over with and fought (he didnt have to fight Bertuzzi….many guys went after him that night and he kept pussing out). I feel bad for the guy having such a bad thing happen to him but on the other hand here was a guy who didnt really deserve to be wearing an NHL sweater to begin with and was only an agitator and cheap shot artist….and a cowardly one at that. Had he fought early in the game Blake wouldnt have had to go with Ruuto and wouldnt have gotten injured himself. Again I am not making excuses or condoning what Bertuzzi did and all the grief and career damage he brought on himself but lets be honest about the whole thing….none of it happens is Moore hadnt intentionally tried to injure Naslund in the first place and certainly wouldnt have happened if he had the balls to back up his own dirty play (real agitators may play on the edge and sometimes cross the line of dirty play but they dont become cowards when called out and make teammates pay for their dirty play….the Canucks were going after the Aves good players all night if you paid any attention).

As fpr Roy…he understood that Moore needed to answer the bell and I doubt he would have gotten involved….Moore violated the hockey code by not manning up and Roy at least had respect for the unwritten rules of the game.

I have these dreams ALLLL the time?
Not repeating dreams. I have 2 dreams that ALWAYS have this in them: my teeth and the world ending. I have an apocalyptic dreams almost every other night, and dreams about my teeth either breaking, falling out, or grinding against each other several times a week. Now, I’ve done lots of research and it says the teeth mean stress, growth, etc…But there isn’t anything MAJOR in my life. I’m happy with where I am, nothing big and stressful has happened. Plus, I’m getting more of the grinding than anything else. Now it’s where I actually CAN control it, but I’m doing it anyways, like in my dream, it was almost as if every time I thought about it, I would grind them. As for the world ending, I get those so much and I’m always scared or curious in them. Like when you watch a mystery movie. Any ideas?

Mary - I think of dark brown hair, sarcastic, rebel, a tomboy. She likes to skate and has more guy friends than girl friends. Gives alot of attitude and doesn’t care what you think.

What do you think of my story?
I’m only 13, so I’m not an experienced writer. I haven’t spellchecked it or anything, so I’m sure my grammar is atrocious. This is just the beginning of the story, so it doesn’t have much of a plot yet, and I’m not really sure where I’m going with it.
It’s long…you don’t have to read it all if you don’t want to. But read some of it, please, and comment on it.
I realize the paragraphs should be spaced out, and that’s how I typed it originally on WordPad, but it didn’t turn oout that way on here. Sorry.

The sun beat down, hot and suffocating and altogether too much for November.
But that’s the way it always was in these parts. Year round, the weather was warm and dry, and it was impossible to tell one day from the next.
There was a city about twenty miles away, a tourist trap, with shopping malls and movie theaters and office buildings and air conditioning. Most of the people who lived here worked in the city, and they all took the only bus that ever dared come out this way.
Sometimes a lone visitor, from up north, Ohio maybe, would somehow find his way over here. But upon seeing how desolate and lackluster this part of the country was, he would quickly go back to the city with its loud noise and entertainment, leaving the natives to themselves.
Luke didn’t mind it around here. He could never understand his classmates, when they talked about growing up and leaving, going somewhere where there were more opportunities and chances to take. They were tired of this place, of the shabby houses and low population and the constant smell of salt. But Luke never imagined himself being anywhere but here.
He’d always been somewhat of a loner around them anyway. There were so few of them that they all grouped together. And he’d been left out somewhere along the line. They were a complete puzzle, and no matter what he did, no matter hoe hard he tried, there wasn’t room for him in their tightly-knit circle. There was no particular reason why, that he could think of. But that’s the way things had always been, and it would be stupid of him to try to mess with something like that.
So Luke just did his own thing, going to the beach every day and trying to evade his mother’s yelling at him to put on sunscreen.
"I tell you, boy, you’re just melanoma waiting to happen."
"Whatever, Ma. I’ll be fine."
"Don’t ‘whatever’ me. Now put this on."
She’d grab the bottle, shake it a few times, and squirt some of it onto her palm. The white of the lotion was a stark contrast to her suntanned hands.
Luke rolled his eyes good-naturedly, but stood still while she rubbed it on his shoulders. He always excused her for being what he considered overprotective, figuring that since his father left her when she told him she was pregnant with Luke, and since he was her only child, that she had a right to treat him like a baby. He was all she had, and she was going to hold onto him as long as she could.
She shoved the bottle into his hands. "Now you take this with you, and don’t forget to put it on when you get out of the water."
They both knew he wouldn’t, be he said, "Sure, Ma," and left.
It was a short walk up to the beach from the house, and Luke walked barefoot, loving the feel of the sand between his toes. He loved the beach, with the gulls that sat on the rocks and the shells that washed up on the shore. When he wasn’t in school, he spent most of his time there, so much that he had a year-round tan and his hair had been lightened so much from the sun that it was almost white. This gave him an odd appearance, and at times he wondered if maybe that was why he was excluded. But then he would just shrug, and go back to the beach.
He was usually alone there, unless some of the girls from school happened to come around, wearing brand new bikinis from one of the malls in the city. And even then they’d just look along the wide expanse of sea, sand, sun, and sky, and upon seeing no boys worth pursuing, they would leave.
So Luke would swim and build sandcastles all day, and collect shells in a brown bag. He always dumped them out before returning home. He used to bring them back to his mother, but she’d ended that by telling him that she saw enough shells in the course of a normal day, since they lived right by the ocean, and so she did not need to be brought more.

relationship with my teacher…? please give advice!?
So, I am 16 years old and I am in a relationship/close friendship (I guess?) with my 26 year old history teacher. This is not one of those creepy pedo stories or anything, I just really need your opinion. Back to the story. Mr. Johns was my history teacher freshman year and this year (sophmore). He was the coach of fall soccer and winter basketball, both of which i’ve played on for the last two years. He’s always been really caring and kind if I’ve had a bad day. He suggested at the beginning of the year that we have weekly conferences to talk about my grades / classwork / notes. He always talked to me outside of class and at lunch and practice. He’s really funny and cute and he looks a lot younger, like more college aged than 26. SO, that was earlier this year. That was just that we were good friends and we had a normal fun student/teacher relationship. NOW: so like in november, i was staying late in his class and the door was closed and i was sitting in a desk in front of the big teachers desk joking about my bad test grade and he walks around and leans against the front of the desk when im getting my books to leave. and when i stood up my hair kind of fell in my face and he reached out and pushed it behind my ear and smiled at me. it kind of triggered something beyond like "he’s my favorite teacher" and into i actually like him. he’s just very caring and kind but so funny and his class is always really fun. back to the story, yeah so since then we’ve been like i guess in kind of a secret relationship. we’ll kiss in the small history office and after basketball practice in the locker rooms (empty of course) and no one knows. I dont really think im in danger. im a smart girl, and i know when things have gone too far, but i cant bring myself to stop this. we r at a private school so its a risk for both of us, but he says its ok. one time, at a basketball game, a girl from another team pushed me down really hard and practically threw me on the ground and i sprained my ankle and he ran out on the court way faster than our other coach and carried me to the trainer and kept asking if i was alright. and we had a game a couple days later that i couldnt participate in becuz of the ankle, but he still wanted me to go as a manager. hes just so sweet and i really like being around him. sometimes after bball we’ll meet up at a restaurant further away from our school and just sit and talk and have dinner. its just so relaxed with him. we dont have sex or anything but we have kissed. it doesnt feel wrong, but i kinda think it may be. idk. You are obviously more than a little naive if you put his taking you to the trainer for help in the same category as kissing in empty rooms at school! Sorry, but this is a creepy pedophile. You are both underaged AND his student. You are not the one at fault here, but he is doing something absolutely wrong, and could (and probably should) lose his job over it. I know that is NOT what you want to hear, but a) he is too old for you, and b) he is a teacher at your school. He has no business kissing a student.
