Darkman (1990) IMDB rating: 6.30 Plot: Scientist Peyton Westlake is working on a project to create synthetic skin. i have a lot of "books" in my head that i made up myself but idk how to express them in the 8th grade. tips?
i made up a lot of stories. i even have a 7-book series about a bounty hunter stored in my head. i have a lot more too. one is about a man who equips his house with loads of weaponry and defense to hide from the government, with no way in, no way out. i call it "fortress". yeah pretty brief. another is about a group of teens that got stripped of their emotion and basically turned into indestructable robots, with the same appearance as a human. one of them escaped before their emotion was taken away but he’s still indestructable, and towards the middle you realize that escapee was the main character. i named it "Perfect". My last one isn’t action, it’s about people that paint on the walls of an abandoned subway tunnel to ease the stresses of life away. i call it "NY tunnel painters." now my favorite, the bounty hunter series "Bounty", is made of 7 books: Bounty, Bounty: Masked Accomplice, Bounty: The Parallel, Bounty:(TBA), Bounty: Darkman, Bounty: The Steel Army (subject to change) Bounty: Cyanide, Bounty: Death Ray. All about a bounty hunter that actually only hunts in the first book, who lives in las vegas (las vegas gets destroyed in the last one). Cyanide may be a little dissapointing, for the main character sort of turns into a monster type thing when he falls asleep, and doesn’t know it. please give me some feed on this, and tips on how to express it. thanks.

The only hard part is it is not as perfect as it is in your mind and you have to revise OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! My story now seems a bit dull in my eyes but all my friends love it. I think it is because I have read and reread it in my head and on paper so many times. But TRUST ME! it definatly worth it!! Well, as good as a story might be, it’s pointless unless you get it out on paper. You should start jotting down notes, the basics and what you know. Then after that, you just sort things out and begin writing. Don’t think too much about it, or what’s going to happen in ALL the books just yet. Take it one step at a time. Forget the rest of the books until you reach that point, you know? Stop thinking so much into the future of your books if you haven’t even started. Good luck.

Hw much aquarium salt we should use per gallon? Does aquarium salt hurt live plants?
We have freshwater 75 gallon aquarium with 2 brown knifes, 1 ghost knife, 3 Bala Sharks, 3 congo tetras, 1 rainbow, 4 small chiclids, 2 clown somethings, 1 albino frog and 3 fish i don’t know what they are. We came home tonight and the light was off in our tank the fish were all gathered at the bottom. We turned on the light and it appeared that the fish were twitching. one of the tetras was laying on the bottom of the tank, he eventually got up and all the fish are now swimming around normally a few twitches here and there but over all ok. Were they just waking up or out they sick??

First of all, your fish were sleeping with the lights off. They started waking up when you turned on the light. All of this is normal.

None of the fish you have need salt in their water (except maybe the "clown somethings" and the "I don’t know what they are," but chances are they don’t need salt, either), and some of them (particularly the congo tetras) will be harmed by salt.
And yes, salt will also harm or kill most freshwater aquarium plants.
So if I were you, I wouldn’t put salt in that tank at all.

Some of your animals will outgrow that 75-gallon tank fairly soon. The Bala Sharks will grow to be about a foot long, the black ghost knife fish (I’m assuming that’s what you have) will reach about 20 inches, and the albino frog (assuming it’s an African Clawed Frog, which I think it is) will get to be a foot long and will eat all your smaller fish.

You don’t say (and maybe don’t know?) what species of cichlids you have, but different species could end up being anywhere from a couple of inches long to 40 inches or so.

So you should be planning either to find new homes for those fish as they get too big for your tank (which isn’t always easy), or to get one or more much larger tanks.

Needless to say, it would be a very good idea to find out what species of fish you have so you could learn the requirements for each species.

If you HAVE live plants, you shouldn’t use aquarium salt at all, because it can damage them. If live plants aren’t a problem and you want to use salt to treat their stress/sickness, you will have to use it at half the normal dose, because you have scaleless fish, including your knife fish and frog (scaleless fish can’t tolerate the normal dose of aquarium salt). This would mean using 1 tablespoon per 10 gallons in your case. Regarding all your fish at the bottom, it is unlikely that all your fish would be at the bottom just because the lights are off, especially when some are nocturnal and some are not bottom dwellers–unless something was wrong. Especially if they are twitching, if when you say twitching you mean flashing/shimmying/scraping/other erratic abnormal behavior. Your fish are probably acting this way because of any combination of stress, poor water quality, pH swings and/or ammonia present, and possibly some disease. If you want to encourage their slime coating production to help them recover and deal with stress better you could add some liquid "stress coat" producer like API SRESS COAT or something equivalent, just check the label to be sure if it says its ok for scaleless fish and plants. Then make sure you are maintaining good water quality by doing 25% water changes every week or two. Check your water parameters to see if anything is wrong, And if it turns out to be an illness or infection and you need to treat the tank with medicine, you need to dose the medicine at half dose for the scaleless fish (don’t know about the live plants), as long as its a medication that CAN be used for scaleless fish, as there are many out there that can’t be used at all because it burns their skin.

Skiing accident Please Help?
ok so yesterday it was really icy and my knees hurt from skiing and it was almost closing time and i had like 400 ft till the end of the mt and i had taken a rest bc of my knees and i was close to the edge of the mt. and i had waited a couple of mins for my friends to catch up. and im somewhat laying down and i was wearing a helmet. and my friend was on a snowboard and hes a good skier but not boarder. and he tried to do the kick up snow stop and he tried to stop on ice and he slid w/his board right across my face. i couldn’t get up for a few secs and wen i did i fell to the ground bc my hear hurt so much and at this point my other friends attempt to yell for help. and no1 does help us so i decided to go to the bottom of the mt. and i was gonna go to the ski patrol station at the bottom and i went earlier that night about my knees and so i didn’t go and i got home and took some Excedrine extra strength and i couldn’t fall asleep till 12.40 am and while i was up my head and neck hurt and i was sorta dizzy and wen i woke up this morning i have a scare on my jaw and it hurts to move. please help

Was/Is anyone else scared of sending their toddlers off to daycare?
My son is 2yrs and 3 mon, and I’d like him to attend daycare in summer right before he turns three in October.

I have another child due in July, so sending him off to a daycare would be really god for me to take care of my newborn, as well as my son so he can socialize and learn outside home. He’s been with me at home since he was born.

For some reason, I’m terrified at sending him to a daycare. I read some reviews of local daycare’s and they’re mostly negative.
What if my son is ignored and neglected?
What if the teachers or other kids are mean to him and he feels helpless and alone?
What if they don’t feed him on time, or change him etc?
What if they’re perverted (yes, some are!)?

There are a million what ifs. I don’t mind sending him to a private daycare like Goddard, I just need to know he’ll be taken care of.

If you know of any friends of family that could babysit your child ask them, or maybe if one of your friends are a parent. Ask them where they took their child/children.
I have gotten over my daycare fears by going into the daycare before your child goes there.
just to get a feel of what they are like, and you can decide if you want him/her to go there.

I think that a child needs to be ignored and neglected from time to time. Not by the parents of course. Don’t get me wrong here. A child should be loved and cared for, but you also want the child to experience some of the short comings of life. The sooner the better. The more he learns about the way of the world, the more likely he will succeed. And I know he’s only 2 and it may seem a little harsh, but as long as he’s not being abused I think it will be a good experience for him.

I’m terrified to leave my son in the care of somebody else, but when I do it won’t be until I can afford to send him somewhere I know he will be taken care of brilliantly and will flourish. If you have the money to send him to somewhere like that, spare no expense. If you don’t then keep him home, you’ll manage with the two of them. You know, as he was led from the courtroom to begin serving his 3 to 5, I took one look at him walking in that tight-fitting orange jumpsuit, and immediately could picture in my mind’s eye the impression he would make as he strolled the prison catwalk with all of the cells lining both sides. I turned to his mother and said, "Sis, I’m tellin’ ya, I think Jeb is a real pageant contender." She became really excited; she knows I have a good eye for such things, and we immediately made plans to start building his prospects.

First thing I did was call the warden. Now, Warden Seth Roberts and I go way back, and he knows I’m a real talent scout in these matters, and often turns to me for advice.
